I think this is the right section, sorry if you have to move it.

After it finishes unzipping maplestory.cab, a little Nexon window opens up and I click OK, then the Terms of Service pops up and I click the first option (Agree). Next, a what looks to be a download window pops up (see below) and after waiting a few minutes, I click the button (nothing happened) and get yet another pop up (see bottom most) with bars that don't move either. Once I did this for a few times, the bars increased but never moved while I had them open. Hope that makes it clear.

All i see is gibberish, but can you check C:\Progam Files\Wizet ?

Do you have the folder in your HD?

nvm. I guess it worked. I didn't look in it after my first try.

EDIT: After running GameLuncher and selecting the 2nd Option it says 'Maplestory is not responding.'

EDIT: After running GameLuncher and selecting the 2nd Option it says 'Maplestory is not responding.'

You have to install and run MyKeyDefense first, go to the MapleStory website (http://maplestory.nexon.com) and try to log in, you actually get a popup to run MKD.

Click OK, and you will be redirected to a page with a Maple Girl (Taeyeon), click the big orange button at the top and wait till its finished.

Then try to run MapleStory.exe, and it should work.

I don't get a pop up when logging in. I do have MKD runnning.

Try to launch MapleStory.exe with MKD running. Or do you still get the same error?

It says that wzmss.dll is missing. Should I just redownload and try again?

Yeah, try to download the client again and install.
