There are other games they are putting IP blocks on countries not in the North American continent, such as Vindictus, because they require peer to peer connection.

I could see where some things might be misconstrude and a rumor might pop up saying stuff about Maple. No, Australia won't see an IP block for Global MapleStory unless they get their own localized version, which is highly unlikely.

I think there would be an AMS (AustraliaMS) if they IP block them from GMS. If there is an AMS, then NZ would join them.

There won't be enough people to release Australian MS. Anyway, they're releasing Nexon Cards in Australia soon. ^^

:listen:They have not and will not IP block NZ or Australia because they have just released NX cash cards in these countries. There is roughly 10% of maplers from NZ and Australia combined in gMS.:hehe:

ALOT. Of Maplers are aussie in GMS. I am one of them, I know 4 guilds that are solely aussie. We just got NX, why would they block us when they're getting lots of profit from us?

and besides,why would they ip ban aussies when they brought out nx cards less then a month ago..

The thing about IP banning aussies is they almost never get their own versions for games, and are usually permitted in several (usually global/international versions, SEA versions, and sometimes others).

If GMS ever IP bans Australia, it'll be an accident, and they'll fix it.
