Yeah, hackshield does that. I tried kMS with other computer and it worked just fine. I have reinstalled kMS and even tried patching hackshield. Any way to fix?

I believe TJ (blitzkrieg) has a similar problem, unfortunately i do not know the solution for it.

howdy! the problem is now fixed on my computer! here's how to do it, credits mainly to whybanme on southperry.net!

do you have/have you ever had processguard on your computer? if you currently have it, uninstall it and follow these steps. if you have already uninstalled it, continue:

locate the following files: (though I only found the first one)

procguard.sys
dcsuserprot.exe
pgaccount.exe
procguard.exe

they should be in your C:\Windows\Drivers folder. delete the files. next, right click on My Computer. go to properties and the Hardware tab. click on Device Manager and when it comes up, navigate to View > Show hidden devices. under "Non-Plug and Play Drivers", find the files listed above. right click on each, hit uninstall, then reboot. should be working fine!
