View Full Version : Cannot connect to Maplestory

I have recorded my attempt to sign into Maplestory, with delightful sound effects!
B8AAFQjQ5yk

Now this started happening after the first time I logged in with the new client (V1.2.74). If you are interested in what the error says (Sorry for the bad quality) it is this:

It says "you have been disconnected from the game server. please connect again." according to TJ. (Thanks for that)

If anyone could help it would be great.
NB: No firewalls are turned on.

Sorry but I'm bumping the thread.

This never happened before so I'm really confused about why this would be happening.
Also I'm not IP banned or banned in any way.

That's weird, because i got this too yesterday.

Check your internet connection?

My internet connection is fine.

At least fine enough to play MapleStory before this started happening.

Bumping with News. I have noticed the only problem is with my computer as I have installed Maplestory on my mother's laptop (without her consent ㅇㅅㅇ) which is a VISTA and it works on her computer.

The reason I still wish to fix this issue with my computer is because I do not have access to it all the time and with events exploding every weekend I feel left out in a way.

Also her laptop is widescreen as well as having a different keyboard format, so everything feels weird.

Please if anyone can, help.

Bump...does any one know the problem?

I've tried it with absolutely no programs that could possibly attack maplestory on and it still would not work.

I just did TKWizard. Sorry, it didn't seem to help, I'm still getting the same errors.

As long as this error occurs don't expect me to be on Maplestory a lot(using the aforementioned laptop). The keyboard for the laptop is so horrible I ended up dying twice.

Try Reisntalling it.
Whats the amount of gigabyte space left.
Maybe ur pc is filled up to much.

Reinstallation doesn't work, and I've got around 7gigs left. I doubt it has anything to do with it though.

run a virus scan, run a spyware scan. not sure what winsockfix does, but I assume it's basically the same thing as this, but try it anyway.. run a command prompt and type "netsh winsock reset catalog" then reboot your computer. if none of this works, download hijackthis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis) and PM your logfile from it to me.

Check system requirements, they probably changed it, you might want to check. and see if your system is compatible.

Just checked, pretty damn sure it's compatible.

TJ suggested reformat. I would except I don't know how and possibly don't have the resources required to save my stuff. :(

Insert disk, let folow instructions, your computers practicly new again... I lost my cd tho -_-

Well I give up... Just kidding, If you call your computers provider they could send you another CD for a price which I have no idea about, Dont download one illegaly you will be royaly screwed :P
