I thought I would give word since I've been watching people have issues connecting with Proxies.
SoftEther's Packetix WORKS with JMS. I just tried it right now because I was using it for something else, and I connected to the game 100% perfectly fine. I don't know if it was banned at some point or what, but it's a significantly easier way to connect than with all the password crap with some proxies.
It's not as efficient as Proxifier, since Proxifier just works for single applications and Packetix takes over your Internet, however the second the HackShield logo appears, you can disconnect the Packetix server, and still connect fine.
Since people are having so many issues with passwords and proxies (And I've seen more than enough people say they stopped playing BECAUSE of them), I thought it would be a good idea to inform people that it works fine to connect to the game.
Follow the Manual Install section here: http://www.packetix.net/en/secure/install/
When you have everything set up, you simply right click the task bar box with colored lights at the bottom right, hit Start VPN Connection -> Whatever you named the connection.
As of sometime after this was original posted, Nexon JP added an IP Check on the Login Screen.
You MUST log in before you deactivate the VPN. Under some circumstances, you must also End the VPN Process, instead of just disabling it in the program itself. To do this, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del or Start -> Run -> taskmgr. Find the Packetix VPN under Processes (I don't know the name off hand, anyone able to give it to me?). Right Click it and hit End Process. People have confirmed this method working while the other doesn't. This is because when the program does it itself, it takes much longer to close the connection, while just ending it will allow Windows to quickly takeover.
If you're having problems staying connected, you can always leave the VPN on, but your latency will suffer.
