Swine Flu. Tragic. Over 100 dead in Mexico and cases has been seen in 17 other countries. Everyone is panicking and hell schools in America has been shutting down.

In Australia there has been no cases found and yet people expect us to be in a state of alert. And for some of us, we are. Especially the health nuts who see anything with more than 2 micro grams of fat on it to be considered an unhealthy food. My mother has recently been force feeding me Vitamin C tablets and other crazy mineral shit she ordered from her crazy health medicines website she's part of for the price of $30 a tablet. She's wasting all this money on stupid shit that will probably make me even more exposed to other diseases than the goddamn Swine Flu.

If the Swine Flu isn't in your country yet, stop panicking. If you don't trust the news and say that "OH BUT YOU CAN NEVER BE SURE" shut the fuck up. For those people who's country is infected I am sorry, now can you please stop making such a fuss on it on television? I don't think every news day is as slow as to report on some micro-organism that is capable of killing people, hell HIV could do that twenty fucking years ago.

I am sick of everyone around me shouting the words Swine Flu like a fucking internet meme. For fuck's sake people, grow some fucking balls and stop worrying.

The higher number of cases from Mexico reflects ongoing testing of previously collected specimens. The United States has reported 226 laboratory confirmed human cases, including one death."

23 total deaths confirmed, 816 infected. fox news reported 159 deaths, 2500 infected.

You can't really compare a influenza with aids. The difference between swine flu and aids is that aids only spreads if you (the person who's infected) want it to spread (means having sex). You can't control the spread of this influenza.

But I agree, the hype really does suck. Every year at this time we get annoyed with a new disease in the news.
