Syntax error?

I remember long ago I had this error, and I never ever resolved it until I got another computer. Yet here it is again, this happens every time I try to install JMS, and after a week of having it I still can't figure it out. Code page is in Japanese and everything. Any help here?:cute:

Seems like a problem with how your computer is interpretting the install, if the install is not corrupt.

A syntax error is basically a mistake in the code. For example, in many languages, most lines have to end in a ; (semi-colon). Lacking one results in a "syntax error". It's an error like that. If it's NOT the install (As in, maybe the same file works on another computer?), something is wrong with your computer itself. You may have to reinstall Windows or something like that to get JMS to install correctly.

Or try switching code-pages. I hear that helps sometimes.

You might want to try installing it on English Code-page. It sounds weird, but this actually happens for Ragnarok Online. You MUST install it on an English computer in English Code-page, or the game won't load. You can change the code-page whenever you want after, but if you have it in Japanese or any other before the install, it weirds out because you're on an English computer.

Hmm alright thanks for the help guys! I'll change my computer back to an English code page and see if it works, if not then I'll just re download the installer and try, and hopefully that will work, and if not... Meh. :phew:
