When I create a character a box pops up, what am I supposed to put in it?

erm okay, I got past, thanks, next : theres a box that I don't know what I'm supposed to write & how do I change my characters clothes?

I'm guessing that you're at the character creation screen, pu the character name you want in the box, click the arrows to change clothes etc, don't worry about starting skill points because it all gets reset when you take the first job.
