Rules of EllinForest.com

Breaking rules will result in punishments. There are several types of punishments:

1. Warning - This is where an announcement is made that mentions your name and that you have broken a rule. I (''Administrators and Moderators of EllinForest.com'') will determine whether you knew what you were doing was wrong or whether a warning is necessary to explain it do you.

2. Temporary Ban - You will not be able to post on this board until your temporary ban has been lifted.

If you receive five infractions, you will be temporarily banned for seven days. If you receive another five infractions, you will be temporarily banned again. But the third time's the charm so after that, you will be permanently banned.

3. Permanent Ban - You will not be able viewing this board.

You will be permanently banned if you have received a temporary ban twice and have a total of 15 infractions.
You will be permanently banned if you have scammed or hacked somebody.
You will be permanently IP banned if you made an attempt to evade your ban.

The following rules list the most serious violations:

1. Hacking / Hacking Discussion
In an attempt to keep the KMS English community hacking-free, we plan to keep this forum hacker-free. That means if you are caught hacking in-game, you WILL be banned, and it will be permanent. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Any and all hacking-related discussion is also not allowed on EllinForest.com, and if deemed necessary, it may also result in a permanent ban.

Special Note:* eKMS (English KMS) is a GMS-dependent program, it translates a portion of the game to English from Korean. This is, however, against the Terms of Service of Nexon AND against our Forum Rules. It is against the ToS because it's a program that changes the .WZ files.

This program is illegal to distribute on EllinForest.com nor do we allow our users to use it. The program isn't a miracle worker because it does not translate all the newest content to English.
We recommend you NOT to install this program because it might also affect your gameplay with bugs or glitches. Anyone found to be violating this rule will be dealt with accordingly.

2. Spamming
Posting nonsense on the forum outside of the designated area (The Asylum) is prohibited. This includes, and is not limited to, off-topic posts, double posts, posting only to increase post-count, grave-digging, one-word responses, and general posts that in no way contribute to the thread's value. The punishment for spamming will be deemed by the severity of the act.

3. Scamming
Any user who has been accused with sufficient proof of having scammed another user will be permanently banned. No exceptions.

4. Account Creation
No, we will not create an account for you. There's a registration guide available on our forum.

5. KSSN Discussion
We do not allow discussion about any methods used in obtaining a KSSN.* If you choose to use one of the methods to do this, keep it to yourself. If someone is found to violate this rule, the post in question will be deleted and the Moderator or Administrator will take action against the user as seen fit for the situation.

*A KSSN is short for Korean Social Security Number, also called as a resident registration number. This is a 13-digit number available for the residents of the Republic of Korea. It is used to identify people in various private transactions such as in banking, employment and it is required to sign up for most Korean games.

6. Harassment
Harassing other users in any way will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, creating threads or posts with the intention of hurting another user's feelings or reputation, spamming a user's PM inbox or visitor message board, and any form of discrimination or slander. If you feel there is a problem with someone harassing you, PM an Administrator or Moderator and we will sort it out as we see fit.

7. Posting of NSFW Material
Just don't do it. If you break this rule, the post in question will be deleted and you will either be warned or banned, depending on the severity of the situation.

8. Disrespect of Authority
If you have a problem with the way the forum is being run, PM an Administrator or Moderator and they will attempt to quell the issue. Public disrespect of the staff will not be tolerated, and will be dealt with accordingly.

9. Social Groups
Everyone is allowed to create Social Groups. However, if you decide to converse in your Social Group, please keep it civil and normal. Anyone found to be spamming in groups or posting NSFW material will be dealt with accordingly.

10. Thread Prefixes
The user may use prefixes only if it is required. So, if there is a new patch notice, you can use the [Patch] prefix. Please use this feature carefully.

11. Drama
Do not announce to the forum about how "x" scammed "y", or "x" is a hacker. If you wish to report a scammer, do it through a PM to an Administrator or Moderator. The whole community doesn't need to know about your little squabbles, especially in cases of mis-communication. Breaking this rule will result in an infraction.

12. Registration Guide
Posting registration guides is prohibited. We have a guide of our own. Anyone who is found posting a new KMS registration guide or reposting ours will be warned or banned based on the situation.

13. Private Servers
While discussion about private servers is acceptable, blatant advertising and linking of them is not. Anyone found to be violating this rule will be dealt with accordingly.

14. Account Exchanges
Any kind of exchange of an account is prohibited. This includes: selling, buying, trading and giving away an account. An illegal transaction will result in an infraction or possibly a ban depending on the situation.

Keep in mind that the Administrators and Moderators have been chosen to run this forum, and you have chosen to be a guest here. The staff will handle any situation to the best of their abilities and have authority to settle any issue, whether listed here or not, however they see fit.
