No matter what MS I play, whether it be Chinese, Brazil or any other version than global. I always get a message saying that I cant connect and then I have to click YES or NO whether I want to go to the website or not.

Are you sure that your codepage is the one it should be?
Also, check for blocks under firewall settings.
