The "5/20" in the chat box/fading gold yellow thing.

I've seen it pop up a bit... what is it? xD Medal for being online for 20 hours that I magicly started when I talked to the old guy randomly?

Explorer medal. If you visit all 20 selected maps in Victoria Island, you will get the Victoria Island Explorer Medal. You have visited 5/20 maps.

The other locations (other then Victoria Island) require you to visit 10 maps per place.

Oh... Any 10 maps, or is there a nifty list somewhere?

Did I start this, or is it automatic?

Most medal quests are now automatically activated. All explorer medals are automatically started.

The South perry thing is a little off I think. The victoria explorer medal is split into two different medals. A Victoria island medal being one and a sleepywood medal being the other.
