If it's the actual XP SP3 disk/iso, it should be bootable from the start.
If it's not booting, then you'll need to go into your BIOS (you'll need to press whatever button it says you need to press to enter BIOS settings/setup when immediately starting). When in there, you need to find your Boot Settings (somewhere in there). Reorganize it so that the CD drive boots before the hard drive. Save settings, restart, should work.

Btw I could prolly help more if I knew what model of computer/motherboard (if custom) you have.

Do you have a prebuilt PC? Then find the model number and manufacturer.
If not, open it up and look around on the mobo. You should find it somewhere.

Press F-12, That worked for Me :).
It all varies depending on the mobo/manufacturer.
For example, my BIOS requires me to press Delete when starting.
For Rigumaro, his PC may have a special boot options. I can't know what to do unless he tells me what mobo/manufacturer model it is.

Get into BIOS, set boot-priority as CD/DVD-rom, restart, success.
