Just say Hayao Miyazaki. Most people who've watched his movies know how great a director/artist he is.
I had to go look it up and it looks kinda interesting.
The only concern I might have for Disney dubbing it is removing Japanese cultural references. Weeaboos will bitch day and night if they remove even one. Otherwise, I think Disney will do a fine job. (I hope)

I saw it dubbed to spanish a while ago (Wow, a movie that came out in Spain before USA? I can't believe it O.o), and it was fine for me. In this movie, voices isn't the main thing. This movie is mainly for "visual pleasure" (I don't know how to explain xD).

The only thing I hate, which MOST American companies/movies do, is that they're not pronouncing any of the Japanese words/names correctly. It's not 'Pawn yo,' It's Ponyo (poh nyo).

I would like to see Ponyo, I have seen Spirated Away and it is one of my favorite movies. I just hope it is worth seeing like spirited away :D
