Stuck on a cygnus quest

Okay so like i've been stuck on this quest for like 2 days...

i was told to go to the map with the hidden npcs and just talk to them and wait for a ghost thing to appear. i clicked like a hundred times and moved around the whole map and no ghost thing appeared. >.<

am i standing at the right place here? and where is the ghost thing suppose to appear? :confused:

Below you in the second picture there should be a bush with some sort of red fruit at the base of a tree; click on the left side of the bush, and then you'll see the puppet mage spirit.
