Without Internet for 1 day... I freaked out!

I almost got demodded from a forum, because of my absence.
The boredom level was over 9000, I had to make myself 6 coffees, just to keep myself awake.
I sorted and renamed all my KMS screenshots. (4,983 Files, 51 Folders), watched 4 mediocre movies and most importantly - I realized I don't function well without my precious (the Internet). :inlove:

An hour ago a computer guy came in and told me that my modem has burned or something like that (and gave me a new one), so I'm back. (not that anyone has noticed me missing... XD)

Back in the dark days of comcast, my internet would sometimes go out for weeks at a time. It was a damned good connection, but the toll it required was so high.

The funny thing is, when we threatened to finally switch with angry angry angry tones, they instantly came over and fixed it for us. Then next summer we had the same problem, and recycled.


But it hasn't been down for over like, 6 months now.

Different people have different standards for life, and hypocritically interfere into others lives and tell them what they do does not amount to having a life. It's sad I know.



But yeah, I have to do my homework online, if I have no internet, I'm completely screwed, and my internet was weeks at a time. IF the time was also right, one day can screw me over badly to. I also need to do other things on the internet that are important.

Realistically, we can live without the internet. When people claim to have lost all hope without the internet, they do not 100% to heart mean it. But some things they enjoy are in fact compromised due to the lack of the internet, which will cause them to complain. Trying to protect your image of having a life and not complaining about it is pretty lame.

Wow think of not having the internet for 4 days, i left foir my grandmas to find out i couldn't connect to an internwet, but on the day befor I left i connected to an internet, but when i got home the next day i ahd over 70 viruses lol. I freaked out both form without internet and form teh viruses

I was internetless, heck, even computerless for a day before. Guess what I did? READ BOOKS, and watch tv. Hell, go out and look at stuff. If you stumble into an Apple Store, or some store with Internet access, theres your internet access. >_>.
