Would anyone like to explain to me how these families work and how you gain family points? o3o

Yet, I still have no idea on how to get family points xD;

Once you have kids, your kids can have kids too, so your kids and your grandkids are going to give you points. For exemple, each 5%(i think) they do, you get something like 10-20 points from then, each of their level up gives you a LOT of points for exemple, iNessa lvled to 50, it gave me 510! I hope you understand a bit more :p

You can get free 1.5x / 2x exp, drop, and teleport around to your family members
