Freezing problems :<

Not kMS, but MS in general I think. Whenever I play MS, I can play with no lag or problems for about 2 minutes at a time. Then for about 5 seconds, it completely freezes. After that, it resumes and I might be dead depending on the monster. D:
So what is wrong? Is it the fact I am dual-booting between two hard drives on an old computer?
Here's the specs:
OS:Windows XP Pro SP3
CPU: Intel P4 3 Ghz single-core
Gfx card: XFX Geforce 6200 256 MB
3 GB of DDR 400 memory
This is on my 160 GB IDE HDD. I only use it for MapleStory.
My 320 GB SATA HDD holds my main OS, Windows 7.

im not much of a tech guy but i think that ur graphics card is low: b.c im using a 512 mb one and still lagging... i think if u upgrade ur graphics card it will run smoother not sure tho.

Other than just specific moments of freezing, the game runs pretty smoothly. And even before this card, with onboard it held up really well.
