No, I'm not nerdy/rich enough. But I know someone who does. Very creepy.

I'm not rich enough either but my mum pays for hotels and travel as long as I pay for wigs, costumes, fabrics and such. :3

ha saw this thread shortly after leaving you a visitor message, strange
I love cosplay & actively visit conventions when I have the time & money but I just don't have the skill to make costumes.. or the guts to wear one XD. I like trying to make props though.

Yay, Cosplaying is awsome x3 I cosplay in sweden at some conventions (spelling?) and yeah. its pure awsome. later when im older my goal is to cosplay around the world (LOL, but im serious) and THAT would be awsome. what do you cosplay as Pantaloon?
EDIT:
this year(i mean next year lol) im going as the Joker from Batman, not the one from the cartoons. im going as Heath Ledger-Joker cosplayer :)

I'm going as Monoe from Yume Nikki this October in London and since I can't go in May (someones birthday ON an Expo date, so heres hoping Roadshow comes to Scotland early next year) I'll just be making costumes and deciding what to wear in October.
After Monoe my MAIN priority becomes Monoko. Monoko was too difficult to do in such a short timespace (my mum doesn't want me to cosplay, so she's not even letting me do anything until NOW. She wants me to screw up and grow out of this "phase")
And next year I'm helping my best friend with her Gijinka Pokemon cosplay. :3
edit: It's very lucky that I'm a fashion and textile student, isn't it? LOL
