Family System? Need help

When I was questing in henesys, a person walked by and invited me to something. it had a house in the little blue box invite. I believe this is the family system. I'm not sure what it is used for. Is there a way to leave it?

Start by pressing every button two or three times. :O

The family system simplified is where juniors of the family level up and earn their elders points which the elders can use on things like 2x exp for the party and warping to other family members.

I'm not sure about how to leave one though, sorry. :\

To leave just click on your elder (the green box) and click yes on the popup
