Dropbox is a very useful place for storing files online, and sharing them with others.
But, from what I've tried, it's a very good replacement for a image hosting site. All you have to do is move an image to your 'public' folder, and it's uploaded. Then you can just right click on it, and you'll get a link that you can use anywhere.
