View Full Version : Installer Won't Work

Someone's probably posted this already but anyway, the installer sticks at the same point everytime I try to install KMS. Uninstalled KMS and deleted the folder before trying to reinstall but no luck, it just freezes at that point everytime.

And before anyone says that I should just leave it to run overnight or something it doesn't get stuck on that screen it freezes on that screen and the bar doesn't move.

I mean seriously? Who wouldn't go like this after no MapleStory for 2 weeks?

tl;dr installer crashes at a certain point

How long were you waiting? Restart the patcher, that is the only solution to your problem.

I waited for 2 hours the last time and it was still stuck at that.

Ontopic: I think it's time to clean my laptop out so things actually wanna work T_T
Ok I'm gonna do another installer attempt, I'll post the results.

EDIT: RESULTS:
Failure. Freezes there again.

I had to leave my Comp on for 7 hours because of that problem.
Just wait, don't stop it even after 2 hours
Leave your computer on while you go to school, don't stare to the screen for 2 hours.

My laptop shuts down on its own though after a while because it's screwed up and my parents check up on me at night even though I tell them not.

why not just download kMS directly instead of using that funky web installer you're using.

That IS the KMS installer.

try moving the installer directly to the C:\ folder, then reboot your computer and try again.

i mean when you click on the GAME START thing on the kms site, you get an installer also.

did you download the full client or are you just clicking game start
