I've been playing LoL for about 2 weeks.
AMAZING game.

I've recently temporarily quit due to the fact that they postponed the shop which was supposed to be out the 17th.

Yes it is still in beta, and the shop is due out "today".

Actually you don't have to.
The more games you play, the more IP you earn.
You use IP to buy the champions in the shop.

Yes its always going to be F2P.
Of course there are benefits if you buy the actual game at a store or online.

You can't get banned for leaving a game.
It just annoys people because it gives an unfair advantage to the opposing team.

DoTA - original
HoN - Copy of the original using better graphics (pathetic attempt to make money)
LoL - a refined, more sophisticated, and competitive version of the original. MADE BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO MADE DOTA ALLSTARS

Now go play LoL

I do, I'm downloading LoL right now.
You'll have to guide me through though seeing how this will be my first time playing...
And also, there is only one creator of DotA, and that's IceFrog.
The rest are helpers/testers not creators
