November 2009 EVENT

Welcome to the November 2009 Event, and our FIRST monthly event EVER! This months Event will be a fun game! Before I explain to you what game we will be playing. Let me recover some of the rules so everything goes as smooth as possible!

1. NOONE is allowed to post answers in the first 24 hours. If anyone breaks this rule, they will be banned from participating in any future monthly events. For this particular event, answers can be posted starting November 23,2009 at 4:00pm Korean Standard time. Either convert that to your time zones or just look at what time this thread have been originally made and do the math!

2. People can have discussions about how hard/easy it is. Examples "Psh I already found the answer, LOL@UGUYS" or "ZOMGWTFBBQSAUCE I DON GET IT". Just DON'T POST ANSWERS UNTIL THE FIRST 24 HOURS HAVE PASSED.

3. As mentioned before, the first person to post the right answer once the 24 hour window have passed will receive a 5 Dollar donation in your name. That means you get a yellow/golden forum name, unique title, message inbox increased to 1000 messages, and avatar picture size increased do 200px X 200px. Winners with donor status will receive 3k KMS NX code by December 2nd.

Now lets get on with this months event!

This month's event will be a game of "Find the difference"! There will be an "Original" Screenshot followed by an "Edited" version of the SAME Screenshot. Your objective is to find what the difference between the two screenshots are. There can be ONE or MANY differences! Things could have been ADDED as well as REMOVED! Once the 24 window have passed, feel free to start answering! Since this is our first event, I will tell you an extra hint. There are 4 differences!

HINT OF THE MONTH: "Base of the Fountain"

The top picture is the original screenshot and the bottom picture is the edited.

The spam and campin is what makes the game fun, as long as people don't shout out answers.

I found them, but I'm internetless at weekdays :S. Also, it's at 8 AM for me, so I can't :S

Edit: Also, for next contest/event, I'd suggest to do it this way: People PM you the answers, and once the event is over, pick all the right answers and put them in a random thingy to choose the winner.

This way, is fair for everyone. (Especially Europeans who don't wake up early xD)

I completely agree with this, the time Terry has put down for the answers to be given in is at 7am my time and I have to get up for school so there's no way I can submit it. If my parents saw me on my computer at 7am they'd kill me, almost literally.

Alot of people are going to be in the same situation as you. In fact someone might not have posted the answer by the time you finish school. Who knows? log in ASAP after school to check :)

We (Josh and I) will allow 1 or 2 minute early posting, because its honestly not that big of a deal. And not everyone's watches/clocks are set exactly the same to every second. Just don't abuse our leniency, because we will know :hihihi:

not to keep instigating, but isn't the clock set on the top right corner of the forums accurate enough that you don't need your own clock to watch? -- and isn't altered with whatsoever. you also stated it was 4:00PM KST, Nov23, so all people had to do is look at that, and camp away.

just my two cents, haha. but yeah, it was fun camping the thread for about 2 hours or so.

After talking this over with terry briefly we both decided that the best course of action to rectify previous actions is to award (for this time only) both users with a donation on there behalf, as i said before as this is our first try at this here it will take a little bit to work out the kinks.

with that all said and done i would like to congratulate both kremechoco and BABO! on there fantastic detective skills.

Yes I agree with Josh, for this event only there are 2 winners. Josh and I are trying hard to improve our events so everything runs smoothly. Also for people who post 1 or 2 minutes early, do not worry about bans from future events. What I meant by shouting out answers early was, someone intentionally saying the answers HOURS before the 24 hour window, to ruin the event. Anyway grats to both winners. And please send comments/suggestions via private messages to either me or Josh. Thanks!
