Cancel button has been pressed. It could also be slow update due to insufficient network bandwidth. Or, FTP or HTTP connection might be blocked. Try pressing "Retry" button.

If all above attempts fail, please find all files with extension of .erl in the folder named "GameGuard", located in the game directory, and send them to game2@inca.co.kr with description of errors. The errors will be analyzed in depth and we will try to solve the problem for you.

that's the hacking attempt error. if you've got any sort of windowed mode on your computer, it can pick it up regardless of whether or not you're using it. delete any of that type of stuff and try again.

I am too lazy to go type this into a translator to get the jist of it. However, I can make a guess. Look at you login ID. I doubt you made it random Korean like that. As far as pass goes I think it doesn't matter.

I decided to go decipher the Korean and you name written in the corresponding English keys should be something like *removed since I realized I shouldn't post people's login IDs*. That seems like a more logical login ID.

EDIT: I wrote out your error and put it into Google translator.

Crop and don't use Image shack, please. Something you entered in the previous spaces needs to have 2 of; letters/numbers/!@#%^(etc).

blitzkrieg, You missed one big thing in Game Launching problems in the Technical Help FAQ. If you have a Windows Vista 64bit Operating System (Not sure about Windows XP as I have Vista 64bit), MyKeyDefense won't launch and will give you error messages saying Does not run on 64bit Operating Systems. To bypass this go into your maplestory Korea folder (C:\Nexon\Maple) and click on Gamelauncher.exe. This is there for people who cannot run MyKeyDefense. After you click on Gamelauncher.exe you will have 2 options. Always Click on the right option to launch the game. Then just login as normal.

I already answered; you have to use two of the three choices (English letters, numbers, symbols) in your password (most likely). It COULD be another blank, but it's most likely your password that's the problem.

P.S. You might have to re-register because most cookies will expire after a certain amount of time.

Yep, that would be the reason.

You will need to make your account in a 32 bit OS, or you can install XP mode RC and try that.

The account username and password doesn't exist, I'm guessing that you haven't signed up for a Nexon ID yet.

Ok, well first, I'd suggest trying to log into the Nexon Kr website, if you can't log in then the account didn't sign up.
If you can then you entered the details on the MapleStory signup page incorrectly, you may of put in a wrong KSSN, Korean Name or password.

On the signup screen the first section is asking for your email or username that you want to use in KMS then asking you to type out your MapleStory ID password twice, the next section is asking you for your Nexon ID and password.

Every single time I go onto the KMS site, I get this error when I try to click something, and I'm talking about anything. And nothing happens. I can keep trying, but I will continue to get that error.

Update Error.

Restart HackShield should solve the problem. If it doesn't fix after rebooting your PC, restarting HackShield or by visiting the KMS website then you will have to reinstall the game.

Probably something like you can't equip it because it's a ninja equip thus thief.
Or you don't have the required stats. Because you have equips that give stats when you replace them you have not the required stats any more.

The bottom right button you're talking about is the "Quit" button.

The error message that pops up says, "Unable to install MapleStory as your installation files are corrupted".

Try redownloading the installer.

im guessing u play another version of maple
if u play msea/gms they have ahnlab too, so mykeydefense and smartupdate i screw up
uninstall those other ones and reinstall kms
or delete maple from ur registry and reinstall kms

which implys that you are born on 1907 not 2007.
for kssns which are created after the year 2000, your first digit of your last 7 kssn numbers will begin with a 3 or a 4 (eg, 070328-3******) 3=male 4=female

for kssns before year 2000, the first digit of the last 7 kssn numbers will begin with a 1 or a 2. (eg, 920509-1******) 1=male 2=female

It says that the log in server is down. It might be because of the midnight ban, it doesn't let you log in from 12am to 6am KST (it ends in about 40 minutes from now).
