Remove Awards?

People are spamming the fuck out of the forum and it's starting to get annoying.
All just for the stupid award icon next to their stupid name.
I say it gets removed so we don't see a few thousand Asylum topics pop up for the pure purpose of fighting to get the award.
Also, most of the posts made now degrade the topics into teenagers with raging hormones. Or pointless fights.

that thread had nothing to do with awards. I've only noticed any award threads in the asylum, and only recently, so they don't seem to be that big of a problem to me. as long as these threads don't actually span out into the other forum sections, I don't see them as an issue at this point.
