heyy
Well I started playing Culverin about 3-4 days ago and its very boring being friendless. Currently, I'm a lvl 34 Dual Blade and trying to grind as much as possible besides school.

Basically, I'm lookin for english friends who know korean (or vica versa) and who are willing to teach me a bit korean, as I want to learn it for Kms :)

Add me ingame on Yalte :)

All you really need to know about Korean to get by in KMS is a few simple phrases/words, the keyboard layout, and how to pronounce and read the alphabet (most of KMS is in konglish, it's phonetic).

Most of us that have been here for a year+ know some Korean. I can give you a site or two to help you learn the alphabet if you want.

If you're insistent to make Korean friends that speak English, join a Korean guild or talk to Koreans in-game in English. Be polite and use simple words, and a lot of them (not all of them though) will be more than happy to talk to you. Most of them don't speak much English, but enough to carry on a conversation (and because Maple terms tend to be phonetic, maple stuff is easy to talk with them about).

The koreans also think it is inpolite to be inferior when it comes to english, so they may be hard to come by.

You'll learn something either way, just don't get your expectations too high at first without some self-study outside the game on your part, because most Koreans in KMS don't know corresponding English translations to most Korean words and vice versa, aside from basics.

I've only met one who was truly fluent in English in the years I've played.
