While procrastinating studying for my physics final tomorrow, I found this guy's blog (http://mithosk-games.blogspot.com/) about remaking Link's Awakening in 3D. The remake is essentially using all the original maps and sprites and placing them over 3D surfaces. He's just about done with Turtle Rock and I assume the only things left are Windfish's Egg, NPCs, and monsters. The estimated release date was early '10, so maybe he'll finally be finished by mid-summer.
