Gunslingers vs Strikers

having trouble picking between one. can you help me choose the best class in terms of fun, funds (I have about 10mil right now), and damage? I play in Culverin but I haven't made the characters yet since I don't know which one to do. also, the cheaper but stronger one (i think) is a striker, but i've heard that Gunslingers are waaaay more fun. Help me please :D

btw im NOT going to make an Infighter

edit: One more thing, it wouldn't HAVE to be the cheaper class, but it would be better since I'm also raising an Aran.

Striker is cheaper - you don't need bullets, and the knuckle scrolls are cheap.
Striker has a lot of flashy skills, but it doesn't really have any use later on in the game, due to level cap, unless you want to be a SI mule, lol.
I had a Striker in a Pserver once, and it wasn't as fun as I expected.

Slinger is more expensive due to bullets, gun scrolls shouldn't be too expensive.
I also tried a Captain in a Pserver, and it was rocking. I loved it.
They have a higher damage output(according to the oh so discussed DPS/DPM chart(s)), and are a lot more fun in general - in my opinion.

striker is pointless, if you like close combat > infighter (ik you said you werent gonna make one)
long range + flashy skill + high DPM go with a gunslinger.

Make slingaaaaa!!! in 2nd job they can do that one lpq stage faster due to wings and recoil shot. and in 3rd job they get rly bettter!!! Strikers have a lv120 level cap......but they have really flashy cool looking skills you barely use. But, i don't think yo've made a slinger b4, i know u had a striker b4.

I'm not exactly sure as to what the previous poster said but I understood the jist of it. I'm a gunslinger my self and I've never really seen a point to making a CK so to it's low level cap limiting your potential as a player especially since the real fun starts at those levels. Try a brawler if your interested in a high level cap and close combat.

Getting bullets, moving money+items around, (I didn't have room in Culverin so I made a character in Fleta. Luckily, Blessing still works but storage doesn't D;) getting eq, all that good stuff o.o

oh. u can just use normal bullets til lv50 or 70. But, if you rly want split bullets that badly then....You could hunt for them while training! wild boars give good exp and drop split bullet. So does curse eyes. Helmet pepes and royal guard pepe also drop them and give fairly good exp and from the quests.

ill just use normal bullets then. but ill hope for split ones while im killing pepes, since i have to kill them for the quests anyway

also, wanna make a new char with me? during the next patch ur gonna make one, so y not get a head start? i think ull say no since u told me ull make a battle mage but still! its fun so consider it xD
