Question about the Mu Lung PQ

In the Mu Lung PQ, as of kMSt patch 1.2.191, it said that you can only charge the rage meter by taking damage instead of doing damage.

Is this change in effect or, can you take damage and do damage to up the meter now? In KMS Official.

Only taking damage will fill up the rage meter.
This was a ridiculous decision, oh well.

yeah, in case you didn't know the reason for the change as well, it's because many captains (and bowmen I guess) were able to abuse a glitch in the PQ where they could just spam invincible and bamboo by using constant rapid fire (or hurricane?). they were able to get massive EXP from bosses like papulatus.

it was a stupid fix. they should have found another way. now it's nearly impossible to even get past griffey >___>..
