Need help finding a server or game

I just found this site from Google, and since there are many people from Korea here that speak English and play MS, this is hopefully the best place to ask my question. I'm sure you get this a lot, but I assure you: I am first and foremost a language learner, not some dumb American obsessed with Korea. ;) Jeg snakker norsk, ich spreche Deutsch, and I'm learning Cornish and Hebrew too.

So, I am learning Korean, and am really bummed that no one outside of Korea can play KMS, since you need a KSSN.

So, since I love MapleStory, and the Korean language, I thought playing MS in Korean would be a lot of fun, and great for practice. So, since I don't know much Korean yet, and can't really find it myself, I was hoping if anyone knew of any private servers using KMS (no matter how old, even like 2 years! as long as I could play it in Korean).

Or, if nobody knows of any I could play, perhaps there are some other fun MMOs in Korean that don't require a KSSN? There are games translated into Korean also, offline ones, but I enjoy MMOs a lot, so I could talk to Koreans too.

As far as I'm aware, any legitmate game that you're going to play in Korean will require a KSSN, as that's the way the Koreans regulate everything they do. I really do not thing any private servers for MapleStory exist in Korean, much less a Korean MapleStory private server.

You might, however, be able to find private servers of some other Korean games, though I highly doubt it, since most private servers are based off the English version of games.

Well, i think you can makes 5 accounts of KMS out of one NexonID, so i can give you a hand and help you out, need somebody to confirm my theory though

Also, don't KMS Maple-Only accounts share the same NX, since they're both on the same Nexon ID?

Unless you are really conservative, you could always use someone else's KSSN in order to create a nexon/maplestory account. Then, you could play KMS like the rest of us.

There are MANY Korean Maplstory private servers. You just need a basic knowledge of Korean to get it:
1) Naver.com <~ I call it the Korean Google o.o
2) Search in the 검색창: 메이플스토리 프리 서버 OR 프메 OR 메이플스토리 프메
3) Click on a cafe link. (카페)
4) Download the version of Maplestory and the client from there.
5) Play maple and practice Korean :)

Wow, lots of replies since I was gone!

If someone could make an account for me, that would be amazing, but since no one here knows me, I'd understand if no one would be willing too. If animaniatico, Steve, or anyone could/would want to help me get a KMS account, feel free to PM me, I would be extremely grateful.

Leedus, I tried, but since I don't really know Korean yet, I couldn't find anything, since I can't understand a thing. >.> Could you point me to where I could register on a private server, and where the download page on one private server? 고맙습니다!


As for offline games, I was able to find Pokemon Platinum in Korean, so my goal is to be able to understand a lot of that, and beat it by the end of the year. :)

And by account, I assume you mean a MapleID, not NexonID, right animaniatico?

He means Nexon ID.

You need a Nexon ID to make a maple one, and you can have a few Maple ID's created off of one Nexon ID.

But you all share the NX, so it's best not to.

There was a korean private server last time when i was still playing pserver,i don't remember the name but i do remember that they did a script that change the whole server into korean.
