View Full Version : This proxy is really starting to annoy me. >_>

I've been using this proxy for almost 3 weeks and it used to work. But now, I couldn't connect to Maple Story using this proxy. So I had to test it to see what's wrong with the Proxy.

It seems that my internet can't seem to connect to the proxy I'm using. Are there any better solutions to this problem? or is there a better proxy to use if the proxy I'm currently using is still down? (I can't find a single bloody proxy that actually works with Maple.)

The proxy probably went down. You'll have to find a new one.

It didn't go down, it's just massively unstable. It is annoying, which is why I'm temporarily taking a break from JMS. I don't feel like going through that daily proxy bull shit again.


Just go to http://proxybridge.com/proxy-socks and find a working proxy. Most of the time, 6x.xx.xx.xx, 7x.xx.xx.xx, 9x.xx.xx.xx, 20x.xx.xx.xx, and some others work. United States and Canadian proxies generally work, too. They're the ones I always look for first.

Nevermind about the Proxy server. Thanks to TKWizard (Dennis), I'm now using VPN in order to play JMS.

australian proxies all work too... i live in australia and i dont need a proxy :XXX

That would be a good thing, if there were any Austrailian proxies. If there are any, I haven't run into a single one in over two years of playing and constantly having to search for proxies.

That would be nice. Just in case the proxy I'm using is being a jerk to me like it is right now.

I'm currently unable to log in every time I tried to select my character. I had to make a new character (Which is a Dual Blade, but I will start unfunded.) but sadly, it couldn't bypass the disconnection I keep getting. This is frustrating me.

Flame that happens to me too, i get to char login then it dc's me. Just use vpn, it's actually fast for me.

US version is GMS. So Zues is right, US is IP blocked from JMS.

Not all IP ranges in the US/Canada are banned. IPs in the ranges ShiKage posted are often US/Canadian, and often work for connecting to JMS.

They used to have IP ban at the login screen only. Now, they're having IP ban in-game also, making it harder to stay online.

Huh? I haven't noticed that. The only thing that has been checking me for an IP is the starter window. As soon as you press ゲーム開始, you can just disable the proxy and play normally. You just can't log out and go to the login screen without a proxy.

Wow, okay... I guess you're right. There's an IP check when you click ゲーム開始, one when you select a character, one when you go in or out of the Cash Shop, and one when you go in or out of the MTS.

JapanMS is completely unplayable without using a proxy 100% of the time or without living in Japan (this is assuming you're not one of the few lucky ones that aren't IP blocked).


Let's wait until the next patch to see if this stays. =/

Ok i confirmed it, you can live in some south america and central america countries and play JMS 100% (proof is, im playing and dont has shizzle for proxy lols) i live in dominican republic and if you go to the JMS website and go a bit down you will see on the left a little flag that marks the areas where you can live and play JMS. That caught my eye hehe.

Shii-sama im playing 100% (am able to go to cash shop and everything and log out then in again etc etc) and i live in america =]

Not many people down in Viet played it... There were more in GMS than VMS so they just shut it, now they got EMS so viets are there hehe.

I'm taking a short break from JMS. Irritated I had to reinstall since proxy wouldn't connect long enough for the patch to finish.

all u gota do is put proxifier on, and when it bring up patch window, undo proxy like you do ingame, and it works fine.

i am using vpn but it's laggy and when i pick up meso it delay for 3-4 sec. :(

Oh wow! I fail! I thought Hackshield detects PacketiX VPN in-game. It must be the other program I was using. Either that or it was just a bug.

There is still an IP Checker on the character selection after this patch. Sorry guys, looks like you'll either have to recheck the proxy (Alt+Tab), use a VPN, or might as well quit Maple.

Since I don't feel like alt+tabbing and checking the Proxy, and I'm never giving GMS a second chance before Big Bang, I'm going to have to use Packetix VPN (If you still don't know, Hackshield did not detect it. I mislead you
