I'll start out by saying, I've got them installed. They installed correctly as far as the computer recognizes. I can correctly change my language in the advance tab to whatever Asian language I want. I can restart, and see that it is still in that language. But, I can still not add, nor view Asian characters. Everything is still Squares with numbers in them.

My computer is a Vista to XP downgrade, but I haven't had this problem in the past. It was only recently when I did a system restore. My XP disc has all the needed Asian Language Files, and all the fonts. Yet I still can not type, nor view Asian characters.

Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc do not show up in IME.

Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Are you sure it is well installed? Did you reset your computer? also try setting your code page to korean and in the box'es lower with all the languages, make sure sure japanese, korean and chinese are checked.

Thats all i can think of, since i sorta suck with XP and vista, :/ Only know how to do minor stuff tech-related

Code page is changed, everything installed without an error. Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc are checked. Still everything is squares with numbers in em. I tried two different windows xp discs and they both install correctly. I even replaced my older intl.inf or whatever that filename was, with a newer one, and still nothing.
Could there be another file in my system32 that could be corrupt or something?
