He should have given you a letter. Then go north out of town then follow the map's right path at the top. Eventually you will run into another NPC that looks like an Indian (Map with the Skeleton Dogs). Talk to him. When inside, kill monsters until you get 30 black marbles, then talk to the Indian guy again, and go back to Dances.
