Computer won't run the game

So I'm trying to run the game several ways and each time it pops up the vista message saying maplestory has stopped working windows is looking for a solution. and then it does nothing. Gameguard won't even load up. I downloaded the game from Blitzkrieg's link that he gave me yesterday and I have the files there. I have tried logging into the site and clicking game start and I have tried running the game launcher.exe and choosing the second one. Does anyone have any solutions?

well, I don't really know much about vista.. but aren't you supposed to run it in windows XP compatibility mode or something? also, if you could post a screenshot of the error message it'd help. :P

I ran it in compatibility mode as well. It works fine on my other computer I just tested it, but my brother wants to play with me. It's not a Korean error at all. It has something to do with my computer because it is just a standard Maplestory.exe has stopped responding, then it says windows is trying to fix the error. Which inevitably like vista it doesn't. Really I don't see how someone could explain how to fix it unless it happened to them and they figured it out. I guess I'll keep messing with it and see what I get. Thanks for responding though.
